It is very important to follow those instructions in order to achieve the best possible results from your permanent makeup procedure. Included here are general permanent makeup pretreatment instructions that will help limit any infection or problems.
Do not perform mesotherapy, biorevitalisation, acid facial peeling, facial cleansers, facial laser hair removal, laser removal of capillaries.
No botox injections.
Do not tint your eyebrows — come with your natural look.
Avoid waxing your eyebrows to keep the full shape and prevent irritation.
Do not pick, tweeze or perform electrolysis.
Do not take fish oil or vitamin E for 3 days before the procedure, as they are natural blood thinners.
Do not wax or tint your eyebrow for 3 days prior to the procedure.
Do not drink alcohol, coffee, or strong teas.
Do not take blood thinning medicines, Aspirin, Vitamin E, Niacin, Ibuprofen.
The initial procedure takes up to 2 hours. A strong topical anesthetic numbing cream is used liberally throughout the procedure to keep you as comfortable as possible. If you take blood thinners on a daily basis, then some slight bleeding may occur during the procedure. Bruising is rare but can occur. There is usually some tenderness for a few days.
